The aim of the Strategic Independent Advisory Group (SIAG) is to work as partners with both the Kent Police Authority and Kent Police to:
The SIAG meets at least four times a year, in the evenings. Members of the Executive Committee are required to attend additional meetings, which are normally held a month ahead of the full meetings.
There may be occasions when the SIAG, or individual members, will be asked for advice on specific issues, such as the impact that a serious crime investigation could have on a particular community.

Local IAGs
Local IAGs meet with those senior officers who deliver police services at a local level. Membership is based on the same principles as for the Strategic IAG. Contact details for each of the 6 policing areas can be found here.
